Laundry Time

It is really really a nice place with well behaved and respectful workers, I think everyone in jersey city looking of a great service should head down to Laundry Time at Communipaw Avenue when ever they want their laundry done or when ever they want to do laundry.

Great experience. Will def be switching to them Update...been a few months and i continue to get good clean service. No matter how packed the lot is there is always washers i need . the washers and dryers hold alot and my clothes are always clean.

TLDR: This place is amazing! Would definitely recommend and visit again! I love doing laundry. But if I have to go out to do it, I'd like to find a place that is inviting. I found this place while doing a search on Google Maps and was looking for something that wasn't too far away and had good parking. Not only does this place look great, but it IS great. It checks all the boxes. Though I've only been once, that was enough to want to come back. This place looked clean, friendly staff, open 24hrs, well lit, plenty of seating for children and adults with reading material, ATM, laundry vending machine, wifi, massage chairs (didn't use but I should have), restrooms, laundry carts with good wheels (and even 2 different sizes! The bigger carts are a godsend!), automatic sliding entrance doors (so there's no battle between you pulling a cart and holding the door open) and my honest personal favorite, a small parking lot. This place uses a card payment system that's becoming more common in newer laundromat locations and is fairly easy to use. There were plenty of washers and dryers available (I went on a Saturday at around 9pm) wasn't crowded at all. Probably 7 or 8 people washing. Children were present but appeared well behaved and not running around like their hair was on fire. There's enough space to move around so it doesn't feel cramped. There wasn't really any noise at all. Gotta love a quiet laundromat. Even with their fancy washing mashing sanitizing system. There's a window that i believe gives you a look at some of the machinery behind it, but it runs silently. I've never seen this before and hope more places adopt this. People have become even more conscious about sanitation, especially after covid. There are nice sized flat screen roku tvs on the walls above the dryers, all set to a good volume. Not too loud, not too quiet. I wasn't able to test the wifi, but it's available, and that's always good. I'm in love with parking lots at laundromats. Though here, the spaces feel a little cramped, but I'm not complaining. Be careful opening your door. I've added 25 pics to this review. Most of which were already posted by the owner, I'm sure. Now I normally leave a lengthy positive review about locations I'm fond of, but this one I special because this is for a giveaway the laundromat is promoting. That makes this place even more great. I purposely didn't take a picture of the details, though. You should go check this place out for yourself if you are ever in need of going out to do laundry. Giveaway aside, I love this place and hope it can remain as pristine as possible for years to come.

Laundry Time is a great laundromat. From the affordable prices to the cleanliness of the place, you can’t get any better than this. They even have a area for your kids where they can read books and entertain themselves!

Cleanest laundromat in Jersey City! I've never had to wait for a machine unlike other places I've been. They have 2 bathrooms, 2 massage chairs, and a little book reading area if you bring your kids!

Late night laundry run. Clean and spacious. Reasonably priced 2x, 4x, and 6x loaders. Most importantly friendly and helpful staff.

Love this place. The way the machines are organized is perfect. They are lined up according to size where u don’t have to go thru out the laundromat to find different size machines. It’s clean n very roomy n the attendant named Jorge was very helpful n of course prices are great👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

This laundry mat is big spacious & cleans. Has a lot of dryers and washers. It also has plenty of seats for customers, massage chairs, a place to read books to kids, laundry detergent & supplies if you forgot, and a vending machine. Best part is it has a parking lot for customers to use. Love it

They are clean, workers were nice and helpful. Love the vibe. The price is great... No matter what time I go to wash, it's peaceful. I also used their pick-up and drop services, which was fast and efficient.

They are definitely on to a great start. The machines are easy to use. Everything is clean. Spacious and the prices are definitely doable. May be a $1 more than where you are but well worth the efficiency of machines and space.

Laundry Time is a clean, bright, and welcoming laundromat. The staffs are really nice and their washer and dryer machines are amazing with multiple sizes! I highly recommend coming here!

Tonight was my first time patronizing this establishment and I am thoroughly impressed. The guy working was super friendly and was on top of keeping things clean, he just looked a little bored lol. Clean and quiet. CLEAN BATHROOMS WITH SOAP!!! Guess it won't be quiet for long once everyone is up on it. No crackheads using the bathroom. No panhandlers What I love most is the kiddie area. They have a bookshelf and little table set. Should add some crayons and coloring books. Only other thing I would suggest is to lock the door that leads to the mechanics of the washers. A child could easily go in there if parents aren't paying attention. My 14 year old pointed that out. Otherwise this place is dope AF. Hope it stays this way!

"YAAAOOOO" Best laundromat ever with great washing machines and dryers, extra large carts awesome sanitized clean water systems. I must give it five stars. Also very friendly staff keep a smile on their face great communication with customers. And they will provide their own laundry bags if needed... The price goes with the place. Nice play area for kid's while parents wash clothes. Parking lot a little small but other than that enjoying the laundromat. #yaaaoooollc

Really impressed with this Laundry place! The washing & dryer machines are practically efficient, user-friendly, and clean. The entire place, including the tables and counters, are well-maintained and cleaned by the attentive and hard-working staff. Clean restrooms! There is a kid's corner for reading/writing. There is a sanitizing station. The area is safe. There's an ample parking available, especially on weekdays, so plan to go there on a weekday if possible. There is an automated & user-friendly card-reloading machine with chances to earn points and win $5 prize! Highly recommend this laundry place in the area! Made this my laundry place and not looking for any place else.

Transferred here despite being a 5-8 min drive from my place. It’s clean and huge. There’s also activity area for your kids and massage chair if ever you want to relax while waiting for your laundry to wash/dry. Definitely recommend this place for your laundry needs.

Very clean laundry Matt. It washes for 22 mins and dryer is 29 cents for 6 minutes. Very affordable and staff is always cleaning! No coin laundry though, you need to get a card to wash and dry.

Outside of having machines that do not take quarters, this laundry was an awesome experience the machines are huge, there is a library corner for all of my book lovers which doubles as a play area for all of my parents, there is a place for parents to get a massage and relax as they have massage chairs and there is also several big screen televisions for all of my brothers who may need to do laundry but also don’t want to miss the big game! Overall this was a great experience with all the amenities that create a safe family friendly environment. Great job Laundry Time!!!! If you add the quarter slots to the machines this is environment will be senior friendly.

My experience when I come to laundry time is wonderful the workers are very professional very nice and if you need them for anything they’re always there to help you even if you have no bags to put your laundry in when you’re done you go to them and ask them for a laundry bag they gave you a laundry bag without you having to pay money out of your pocket it’s always clean is always swept the bathrooms are never nasty they’re always clean as well. Even when it’s a lot of people here in the laundromat you always come into the laundromat and always get to wash your clothes with it being packed it was never not one time that I came into this laundromat and I had to wait for a washer or a dryer to start my clothes I always was able to get a washer to wash my clothes with the laundromat being fully packed and I was always able to get dryers as many as I need it with the laundromat being fully packed I love this laundromat I wanted it to stay like it is clean and excellent service.

Best laundromat in Jersey City! Machines are efficient, all my laundry done in less than an hour! No more pesky coins to deal with, the card system makes it so convenient, and the rewards are always a pleasant surprise! Biggest pros: always pristinely clean, a surplus of folding tables and carts, always machines available!
